TAOS, NM – (February 11, 2008) The AAA Four-Diamond El Monte Sagrado Living Resort & Spa has appointed Carol Peach Director of Sales & Marketing.  Peach comes to the 84-room luxury resort with over 10 years of extensive experience in sales and marketing.  Most recently, Peach was Director of Sales & Marketing for the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey in California.  While there, she developed a marketing program that increased sales by 160%. 

 

Prior to that, she served as both Vice President of Sales & Marketing for all Remington Hotels and Director of Marketing for the Ventura Beach Marriott in Ventura Beach, California.  There, she was responsible for increasing business to the Ventura Beach Marriott while simultaneously enhancing the positioning of all Marriott hotels within the Remington Hotel chain.

 

Before moving to California, Peach spent nine years in Albuquerque as Director of Sales & Marketing for Interstate Hotels and Resorts.  Her duties there included overseeing all aspects of revenue production for two hotels:  the Doubletree, a 295-room downtown convention hotel; and the Wyndham, a 276-room airport hotel.  She is thrilled to be back in the southwest.
