Signature High Desert Body Treatment
A blend of wild-crafted, indigenous plants, flowers and aromatic skin nourishing oils from Taos and the surrounding area create signature products. The body is exfoliated with a Zuni salt mixture then wrapped in a volcanic ash mask that is mineral rich and serves to draw toxins from the body. Completing the treatment is a gentle massage and application of hydrating sage lotion or massage oil.

Enjoy this traditional remedy from Madagascar designed to stimulate your lymphatic system and restore healthy body tone. An application of Katrafay plant and seaweed extract is followed by a dry brush treatment.

Deep Sea Oxygen Facial
The Deep Sea Oxygen Facial uses a pure plant mineral oxygen infusion to stimulate cellular metabolism and improve circulation. Specific serums targeted for your skin type are custom blended with the Sea Oxygen Base to tone, purify, remineralize, and hydrate the skin. In combination with basic principles and practices of Cranialfacial™ Therapy, this facial is the perfect tonic for stress and jet lag.

Back Facial

Environmental Repair Facial

Bamboo Lemongrass Polish
Zesty Lemongrass and Bamboo are blended together to create a cleansing exfoliant for the body. This treatment is highly effective on calloused or flaky skin. It is both energizing and purifying.

Signature High Altitude Adjustment Treatment
Not only is this treatment perfect for altitude adjustment, it is relevant for all of us who struggle with the stresses of daily life and the effects of improper breathing. The treatment begins before you arrive with a pre-mailed packet of instructions on breathing techniques. Your scheduled 90 minute treatment at the spa includes examples of self care on breathing, stretching, lung acupressure points and breath imagery. There will also be a specialized massage in which the therapist helps to release muscular tension surrounding the neck, ribcage and related areas to allow for ultimate breath and oxygenation.

Traditional Thai massage is an interactive flow in which the therapist incorporates muscle pressure and rhythmic, passive yoga-like stretches. Try this skin softening and smoothing exfoliation. This version of our Signature Body Polish is a great addition to any of our massages. It includes all of the benefits of our blended plants and flowers cultivated from Taos and the surrounding area. The treatment is completed with an application of hydrating sage lotion or oil.

Natural Nail Manicure
This soothing, nourishing and hydrating treatment begins with a healing Aloe Vera softening soak. A gentle Jojoba and Lemon Citrus exfoliating polish is then applied. Hands and arms are carefully massaged with warm Lemon Verbena hydrating hand crème. This is ideal for environmentally stressed hands.

Natural Nail Pedicure
This luxurious and healing treatment includes a moisturizing and repairing foot soak, as well as a purifying and exfoliating foot scrub. Both feet and legs are then expertly massaged with a conditioning foot cream to restore vital circulation. Polish or natural, it’s your choice. For availability please schedule all fitness activities a minimum of 48 hours before your desired time or class.

Helpful Hints & Policies:

Due to the popularity of the spa facilities, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid charges for scheduled treatments.  Please contact us to reschedule or cancel your appointment at least one day prior to your appointment during operating hours.

 

For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to all Living Spa treatments and services.  Additional gratuities may be added for exceptional service at your discretion at time of check -out.

 

Please check in at the reception desk at least 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled service.  Your early arrival also allows time to change into a spa robe, relax and ensure the full time scheduled for your appointment.  Unfortunately, treatments started late will not extend past the scheduled finishing time to accommodate all of our guests fairly. 

 

In order to make your experience as comfortable as possible and to avoid treatments that may not be appropriate for you, please advise our staff of any health issues such as medications taken, recovery from recent surgery, allergies, pregnancy or existing medical conditions such as hypertension, heart disease or athletic injuries.  Also, please note that it is not advisable to consume alcohol or large meals prior to any treatment.

 

We would love to show you our beautiful spa facility.  For the comfort and privacy of all our guests, tours of the Living Spa are conducted before our scheduled treatments begin and after they end for the day.  We are delighted to offer private or group tours.  Please call with your preference so that we may arrange your tour.           

 

For the comfort of all our guests, the Living Spa is an adult only facility.  The concierge will be happy to arrange childcare services at your request.  Services may be booked for guests 14-18 years old when accompanied by an adult guardian.  Please contact the Spa Director to make arrangements.

 

In order to provide you with a true escape from the everyday, cell phones and pagers are not permitted in the treatment areas or lounge.  The Living Spa is a smoke-free environment.
