Sagrado High Desert
A blend of wild-crafted, indigenous plants, flowers and aromatic skin nourishing oils from the high desert create a lasting impression that can be revisited using the Living Spa signature products. The body is exfoliated with a fossilized desert salt mixture, and then wrapped in an ancient sea-clay mask that is mineral rich and serves to draw toxins out of the body. Completing the treatment is a gentle massage and application of cedar-wood and sage butter cream.

Staurolite Body Bright
This regenerative and balancing treatement utilizes the sacred stones indigenous to Taos. The twin crystals found on the Staurolite are sometimes referred to as Fairy Crosses and have been used as a healing tool aiding in the release of destructive habits, stabilizing emotions, and the attainment of feelings of safety and security. Beginning with a dry brushing to exfoliate the skin and stimulate the lymphatic system, the treatment continues with a detoxifying Turquoise Mud wrap. A hydrating masque is applied to the face for profound rejuvenating benefits. While receiving the energy of these ancient crystals, reflexology is implemented to balance the body chakras. The Living Spa
This treatment allows you and your therapist to meet your individual massage needs. The intention of the massage may be to invigorate your body and mind; or perhaps total relaxation is more appropriate for your state of being. Creation of a unique and harmonious experience is the goal. You will choose the oil blend that will best promote a healthy equilibrium of body, mind, and spirit.

Deep Tissue
This invigorating full-body massage incorporates different modalities with the intention of affecting the deeper tissues of the body. Working with the guest, the therapist will use their specialized training to access the underlying, structural muscles, in order to facilitate ease in the overlying or functional muscles of the body. At the end of the treatment, Arnica Massage oil is applied. This powerful anti-inflammatory will help reduce pain and stiffness in overworked muscles.

Muscle and Joint
This therapeutic treatment incorporates Naturopathica Arnica Cooling Muscle Gel. Arnica as well as Icelandic Moss is known for it’s powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Willow Bark Extract and Birch essential oil are combined to enhance cell turnover and improve the appearance of the skin. This treatment is intended to aid in the recovery of specific strained or overused muscles. The bulk of the session time will be spent on the area (or areas) of discomfort and will be determined by the guests’ needs.

Shirodhara: Inward Journey
Open to the quiet and calm that is possible through Shirodhara. From the Ayurvedic traditions of India, this beautiful and profound treatment is excellent for relieving mental stress and nervous tension. Body Polish Choose from our delightful array of luxurious products, an exfoliation treatment that best suits your skin type or mood for the day. We offer many choices that will thoroughly renew your body’s skin. During your one hour treatment the skin and senses will be refreshed as well as deeply hydrated. (Includes a gentle massage with a moisturizer that compliments your choice of polish: espresso mud scrub, sagrado desert salt, lemon verbena). 60 minutes - $130 Detoxifying Seaweed Body Treatment Enjoy this mineral rich serum with potent herbal extracts designed to help remove toxins and firm the skin. Tours
We would love to show you our beautiful spa facility. For the comfort and privacy of all our guests, tours of the Living Spa are conducted before our scheduled treatments begin and after they end for the day. We are delighted to offer private or group tours. Please call with your preference so that we may arrange your tour.
Cancelation Policy
Due to the popularity of the spa facilities, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid charges for scheduled treatments. Please contact us to reschedule or cancel your appointment at least one day prior to your appointment during operating hours.
Gratuity
For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to all Living Spa treatments and services. Additional gratuities may be added for exceptional service at your discretion at time of check -out.
Please check in at the reception desk at least 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled service. Your early arrival also allows time to change into a spa robe, relax and ensure the full time scheduled for your appointment. Unfortunately, treatments started late will not extend past the scheduled finishing time to accommodate all of our guests fairly.
For the comfort of all our guests, the Living Spa is an adult only facility. The concierge will be happy to arrange childcare services at your request. Services may be booked for guests 14-18 years old when accompanied by an adult guardian. Please contact the Spa Director to make arrangements.
In order to provide you with a true escape from the everyday, cell phones and pagers are not permitted in the treatment areas or lounge. The Living Spa is a smoke-free environment.
In order to make your experience as comfortable as possible and to avoid treatments that may not be appropriate for you, please advise our staff of any health issues such as medications taken, recovery from recent surgery, allergies, pregnancy or existing medical conditions such as hypertension, heart disease or athletic injuries. Also, please note that it is not advisable to consume alcohol or large meals prior to any treatment.
