Taos Tours and New Mexico Adventures

Exclusive Taos Tours, Activities and Excursions

When you stay at a Heritage Hotel & Resort we want to make sure you have the best and most authentic New Mexico experience possible. We've partnered with local businesses and services to provide you with a variety of Taos tours and adventures to enhance your stay with us.

Winter's Beauty in New Mexico

Winter brings a special beauty to Northern New Mexico. High snowcapped peaks outside Taos set against blue skies set a dramatic backdrop for any winter activity or drive.

Spend a morning or afternoon driving the Enchanted Circle - a beautiful loop at any time of year - as you fall in love with the region's captivating landscapes. This 84-mile loop shows off the mountains, valleys, lakes and streams between Taos and the communities of Eagle Nest, Angel Fire, Red River and Questa. Follow the route here.

Or, drive the spectacular loop between Taos and Santa Fe via The High Road and The Low Road. The High Road is considered by Travel + Leisure as one of the country's best winter drives. The High Road winds through captivating desert, deep forests where snow may glisten under the shade of trees, and picturesque mountain countryside as it passes through numerous historic communities, like Chimayo. Complete the journey back along The Low Road, which follows the Rio Grande, affording beautiful river views. Both routes pass wonderful wineries, unique artisan shops and historical points of interest. Follow the routes here.
